Thanks to those that gave up their time yesterday to help improve our Jubilee Campsite. Tasks completed were strimming the public footpath, weed killing, burning the pile of dead bramble and starting to uncover the old shipping container so it can be removed from site.
It was nice to see the tree saplings planted are growing well and the campsite areas in the main field are becoming more defined. You can also see how much of the crowded woodland has been removed to encourage other trees to flourish and more areas for camping in.
The next service day is Sunday 17th July, 11 to 3.30pm.
